the passing of time

Time is defined as the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.

It continues on forever, never waiting for you to catch up. The visualization of time is a horizontal line, yet we know as much to know that this is not entirely correct, it goes out in two directions, rather than one. The problem does become how do you express this in a 3-D world when time is actually 4-D? What about when time moves differently in different situation? I'm not a physicist, so I don't actually know the answers to these questions. What I do know is that it has taken me a while to catch up with the time.

I visited my grandfather estate a few weeks ago and found that throughout the time spent in a living and functioning body on Earth, you tend to collect some interesting things. Here are a few I thought I'd share with you.

1. A puzzle that has had one piece missing since the day it was put together over ten years ago.

2. A wing back chair

3. Meal Pigeons.

My grandfather was a strange man, being an architect he was very particular about things, and liked things a certain way. About 14 years ago there was a flood at this house that ruined all the carpet. Naturally they removed the carpet and had to decide what  to replace it with. Expect till the day that he died my grandfather could not decide on a carpet to install. He's that indecisive.

  1. I'm glad you can still analyze the tough things going on in your life but still go about your day being happy and charming. I hope you continue to stay on the right track.
