With anticipation in my heart and my negative cases not quite finished, I set off to Minneapolis Minnesota for the Blake National Speech and Debate Tournament. It was wonderful, I placed 72nd out of 141 people, winning three of my rounds and loosing three. I made new friends and got to see old ones and most of all had some amazing rounds. I highly encourage everyone to partake in debate. It is an amazing activity, that has provided me with unbelievable opportunities that I would not have had otherwise, and open mind, and friendships that span the nation.
